Senile Skin
Aging process touches upon not only the epidermis. The symptoms of aging appear both on the surface of the skin and in deeper layers. Main changes are visible in true skin. Those changes are connected with collagen and elastic fibres degradation. Skin may begin to age around the age of 25. After 30 mimic wrinkles deepen and change into permanent ones. After 40 radiant wrinkles appear around mouth. Face oval becomes irregular, cheeks drop and sadness line appears. When aging, skin becomes dry, not very elastic, coarse, covered with wrinkles, melanoderma and leucoderma, angioma, lentigo, papillae, seborrhoea and keratoderma.
