A Spring Type
Bright, light colors, soft and delicate. These must be warm colors with gold and yellow tones, intense, sharp, never dimmed or "powdered". Such is the picture of nature waking up after the winter. This is a fresh , lively and energetic spring.
This is a definitely warm type although it is often confused with a hot summer. A spring type should wear bright, warm colors that should be sheer and intense just like blooming nature in the spring. In dimmed, faint and weak colors the spring will look tired and sad.
People of this delicate and warm type should be careful with dark colors. Too dark, earthy colors of the autumn will make the spring look old, and faded colors of the summer will accentuate the wrinkles around the mouth and eyes. The spring type should also avoid black, brown, red wine color and faint, dimmed tones.
The most suitable are one-colored fabrics with delicate patterns such as: flowers or stripes. One must look not only fresh and energetic but also delicate and subtle.
You should bear in mind that clothes are less important than our natural beauty and personality. Colors can’t dominate us but they should accentuate our assets.
The spring is often confused with the summer. This is because they both have rosy cheeks, similar colors of irises and complexions. It is hard to find people who haven’t dyed hair, or whose hair hasn’t changed in the sun. That’s why it is difficult to identify this type without a colorist’s palette of spring tones.
What distinguishes the spring, it is peach –colored cheeks ( not pink as in the summer type), golden highlights in hair and delicate eye-browns and lashes, almost invisible from a distance.
The spring type can be also distinguished by almost transparent whiteness and paleness of skin that can be slightly of peach shade , never blue as in the summer. Lips are warm red. The spring can have freckles- always golden, not brown – gray like the summer.
An intense spring, however, can be confused with the autumn. It depends on the intensity of freckles and hair color. There also can be mixed summer- autumn types.
Despite being so pale, it is easy to get tanned if you are a spring type. You can even become dark bronze unlike the autumn that gets tanned with difficulties. Your tan is usually of honey like shade or golden- brown.
The spring’s make-up should emphasize its genuineness and delicacy of complexion. You can give up foundation during the summer as the skin is usually easily and beautifully tanned. If you, however, decide to use foundation make sure that it isn’t too intensive and thick. The best would be natural beige shades, it might be also with some golden tones but never brown.
Eye make-up should be delicate but in lively, fresh colors such as: whitened brown, apple green, delicate turquoise or orange or yellow. You should, however, avoid sharp, contrastive colors that will dominate your delicate face.
Lipstick should be: warm red , salmon, coral red or peach. You should avoid in your make-up pink, raspberry or dark - brown colors.
A self-confident woman should accentuate her assets. I always advise to be natural, original and to reach harmony and find positive sides of one’s looks. Women who can accept themselves and their bodies are more open up and self-confident. They are more successful in all areas of their lives. I f you are aware of your style you are self- confident and independent.
Nowadays we don’t try to copy famous models’, actresses’ or music stars’ styles any more.
Being natural and feminine is a priority. Healthy lifestyle and spiritual balance are more appreciated than a plastic surgery.
